Yep. This is where I’m at too.

…enters who likely didn’t even scroll down on your story before leaving and for me that time is now. From here out if your comment just says “Well written” or “Thanks for sharing” I will not be reciprocating engagement unless I just see something I really want to read because it is likely they didn’t truly engage.

Yep. This is where I’m at too. 

The exception is if the comment comes from a reader who doesn’t have any articles published. A simple “well written” seems genuine when it comes from people who have nothing to gain.
