Years ago, I was told we should always thank plants for their contributions.

…m the bees. The soldiers rubbed themselves with the leaves of the modest plant to avoid bee stings. As they collected the honey, the plant felt proud that its leaves were used for such an important purpose.

Years ago, I was told we should always thank plants for their contributions. People laugh at me for it, but I thank my salads for nourishing me and talk to the plants I grow.
