This was a timely article for me due to a conversation I had with a child tonight. We are off lockdown in my area now, and mask mandates have been lifted. However, the kids here haven’t forgotten. One of my sons’ friends, a sweet 10 year old boy, told me how rough lockdown was for him. He said he cried every day because he couldn’t go outside and see his friends. He felt so lonely and depressed, and once lockdown lifted, he had forgotten how to play with friends. It broke my heart.
