This is why I live in a trailer park now. I've been here since 2013 and originally just planned to stay for a year or two so I could get back on my feet after a messy breakup. My plans have changed, and I'll stay here until I feel like doing so no longer meets my needs and goals.

People don't understand, though. They keep telling me I need to buy a house, even when I explain that my 3-year custody battle drained most of my savings and I'm still recovering from that. I cannot comfortably afford a house right now. If I buy a house right now, there's a good chance I will struggle to meet the basic needs of my family - food, health insurance, etc. I should probably just write my own article about this before I turn your comments into a rant session.
