The well is still deep for me, but I'm averaging $70 to $100 for short articles about local topics. You get $60 plus residual income if your article is ranked high enough, and for me, it works. But I used to write for Patch, so I'm into this kind of stuff. I can see why the well is dry for others who are into different topics that are no longer moneymakers at NB.
