The Best Relationship Advice I Ever Got — And How to Make it Work for You
After hearing me vent about my boyfriend’s shenanigans for what felt like the millionth time, my friend finally offered some advice. “I want you to ask yourself something,” Ali said, “and I want you to be honest. You don’t have to tell me your answer. I just want you to think about this tonight.”
Continuing, Ali asked, “Are you confusing drama with passion? I used to do that with my ex, and he was just like yours. One day it finally hit me that I was in a horrible relationship with a toxic partner. I thought all the drama meant that we were madly in love.”
