Thank you. I’ve been getting more personal on here lately and it worries me because my ex finds all my work and screenshots it. I’ve wanted to write about this night for years. I also know nothing about my father now, so I’m hesitant to talk about the guy he once was - and may no longer be.

But I weighed the pros and cons, and it’s better for me mentally when I write about the past. I have always been a person who perseverates on things until I share them. After that, I feel like they’re out of my system and I can heal. It’s also helpful because sometimes I find others who can relate.

Aside from that, I don’t use my last name or legal first name in my work.
