I had a friend who fell on hard times and was homeless for a bit. He slept there. I offered to let him stay with me, but he felt like he’d be a burden. He said sleeping at Walmart wasn’t bad. The homeless families become friends and help each other out.

By the way, my friend’s story has a happy ending. He recently bought a home and is doing great.
