Algorithms aren’t always reliable.
TikTok usually shows me exactly what I want to see. Medium gets it right about half the time. Facebook showed me an ad featuring Cheez-Its on a woman’s feet after I mentioned buying cheese crackers for my son, so the Zuckster’s team needs to get it together.
See, I wasn’t kidding. I buy Cheez-Its for my son so he can snack on them after school, not so I can throw them on my feet. If I ever cover my feet with snacks, I’m using the generic crackers from Dollar Tree. I’m on a budget.
Anyway, algorithms do their own thing sometimes, which means I can’t always find content that interests me. I have a variety of interests, but I especially love reading about health, mental health, food, parenting, cats, meditation, spirituality/religion, and self improvement (yeah, yeah, I know — that’s a controversial topic here).
I also love personal essays and memoirs. I enjoy learning more about others, and I’m interested in your experiences.
