I live in an area where many people do not have Internet access. Also, even if info is equally available, not everyone has the time or energy to look at it. Some people are working multiple jobs, even in high school. I had two jobs before I dropped out. I was going into work at 4am before school, then working at a second job until midnight or later after school. When you’re running on a few hours a sleep each night, perfecting your grammar isn’t high on your list of priorities. I was just trying to survive at that point.
Also, you can’t research information about topics you don’t realize are a problem. Some people with grammar issues don’t realize they’re making mistakes.
