I laughed out loud when I read this. I'm having the same problem.

This morning, as I looked at my homepage, I was presented with the same Goddamn story and image in the top left that I’ve had there for the last 4 days. I haven’t clicked on it because I’m not interested in it at all. Yet Medium’s algorithm seems to insist that I READ IT. Now it’s become a matter of personal stubbornness. I’ve vowed never to read it.
