I Almost Forgot to Forgive This Important Person — Maybe You Can Relate
My gallbladder attacks were out of control, and I was tired of living with chronic pain. I was willing to try anything for relief, which led me to TikTok.
As I journeyed deep into the depths of TikTok Land, I found the answer I needed. My eyes filled with tears as I watched a quick clip about how emotions are tied to our organs. Holding on to anger and resentment makes gallbladder pain worse, the video claimed.
I was an angry person with a traumatic past. The theory made sense.
The solution seemed reasonable enough: forgive those who have done you wrong, and it will help your gallbladder heal. Forgiveness is also supposedly good for the liver and kidneys. Not surprisingly, I had an inflamed liver and cysts on both kidneys.
Some of you are rolling your eyes right now, but give me a minute to explain. Before you lecture me about entertaining woo-woo beliefs, you should know that forgiveness actually can benefit your body.
