Every 15 Seconds, Someone Gets Hired on LinkedIn

Maybe it’s time to make a profile if you haven’t already

Today I received an email from LinkedIn with the following data about its members:

  1. One person gets hired every 15 seconds on the site.
  2. The pandemic has prompted a 25% increase in job changes.
  3. Since 2020, the number of remote job listings has nearly doubled.

In the email, LinkedIn also said that 56 people in my network have changed jobs this year. That’s interesting because I have a small network and don’t use the site often. However, I still get multiple job offers each week — for positions I didn’t even apply for — from LinkedIn members.

I’m not looking for a new gig now, but if I was, I’d definitely focus on beefing up my LinkedIn profile.
