An autistic family member recently applied for a promotion at work and didn’t get it due to bombing the interview. Luckily HR got involved (without being asked) after noticing the feedback given to my family member mentioned having bad people skills. The job didn’t require much interaction with people. And the employer is aware of my family member’s autism.
