7 Helpful Things I’ve Learned in Therapy
Meeting with the right therapist can change your life — and maybe even save it. Unfortunately, mental health care isn’t easily accessible for everyone. Long wait times for appointments, high copays and deductibles, and hectic work schedules are a few of the barriers that keep people from getting the care they deserve.
If you can’t meet with a therapist or other mental health care provider just yet, you’re in the right place. I’m not qualified to give you medical advice, but I can share some of the best things I’ve learned from therapy. I hope they help you as much as they’ve helped me.

1) Let it be
You don’t have to fix all of your problems, at least not right away. Sometimes it’s okay to just leave things alone and accept what you cannot change.
